Lakehead University is pleased to invite Expressions of Interest (EOI) from visionary private-sector partners, developers, investors, and operators. This is a unique opportunity to collaborate on the planning, design, financing, construction, and operation of a premier Athletics & Recreation Facility located on University-owned lands at 500 University Ave, Orillia. As part of its campus master plan, the university is prepared to make available a parcel of land to support this project. The project arrives at a pivotal moment for the City of Orillia. The Mayor and City Council have formally expressed strong support for the development of an athletic facility at Lakehead University. This project is not merely a campus addition; it is a vital community solution designed to meet the growing demand for health and wellness services in the region.
